Measuring 1, 3-Butadiene and Simulation of its Releasing Method by GIS Application and Cancer Risk Assessment in Tehran in 2019-2020

Background: According to the heavy traffic in Tehran, a high amount of 1, 3-Butadiene (BD) this city is highly expected. This study estimated lifetime cancer risk (LCR) attributable BD District 9 Tehran Municipality and simulation its releasing way. Methods: research an applied that was conducted form field research. Cancer assessment carried out based on United States Environmental Protection Agency (USEPA) method. concentration measurements were performed at 30 points specified area daily three different times four seasons since autumn 2019 till summer 2020. LCR then calculated for groups residents, employees, first second classes pedestrian. Finally, way evaluated by GIS software. Results: The results showed highest lowest concentrations 2819 424 ppb, respectively, spring. They measured north west side which much higher than inhalation reference concentration. In addition, estimation population due exposure level exceeded USEPA benchmark 1×10-6 4 groups. So, residents 790 more benchmark. Conclusion: results, necessity control urban management producing green vehicles prevent pollutants emission essential.
